Secure Site Won't Load After Installing SSL

After installing an SSL on one of my clients sites, the secure pages on the site will not load. In Chrome, I am getting an SSL Connection Error. In Firefox, the error reads: "An error occurred during a connection to www.the-domain-name.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)"

Here's my setup: I have dozens of websites under 2 different clients on my ISPconfig 3 install. All these sites fall under the main IP of the server.

In order to make a secure page on a particular client's site, I got a new IP address and confirmed it is successfully installed on my server. I then changed the * IP to the actual new IP for that site. So far so good.

But then when I installed an SSL I purchased from GoDaddy, and when I try to visit a secure page on that site, I get the SSL Connection Error and the page does not load at all. This only happens for secure pages. The regular unencrypted pages are loading just fine.

I have Debian Lenny and no other SSL's installed and ISPConfig 3 login does NOT have an SSL of it's own.

Any ideas? I am at the point where I am willing to pay someone to figure this out for me. I need to launch this client's Facebook page ASAP. Thanks!

I fixed this. It was a problem with the security certificate. I had to re-key it using ISPConfig 3 and then re-submit it to GoDaddy. They immediately provided a new cert for me to download. After clearing all the SSL info for this site in ISPConfig 3 and putting in the new info, it worked fine.
