hi,

how to set the passwd with minimum length for user in redhat iam not able to understand from man pages please guide me

 

You just need to run

Code:

passwd [I]username[/I]

and then type in the new password twice.

 

you can edit /etc/login.defs and modify the default password policy settings for new users , read more about it here http://linuxsuperuser07.blogspot.ro/2012/05/understanding-etclogindefs.html

you can also modify this settings for users already configured, with chage command http://linux.die.net/man/1/chage

There's no default login. You must login with your email credentials.

 

is there any way i can check what is it from the server which is ubuntu 12.04

 

What tutorial did you use to set up the mail system? Do you use system users or virtual users?

Do you use ISPConfig? If so, you must set up an email account in ISPConfig.

Im not using ispconf 3 i didn't found comprehensive info about it, however in the future i think i will

I found this great tutorial on youtube it showed to me what i needed, like having a ubuntu server 12.04, phpmyadmin also webmin and a way to connect with filezilla and upload my site right away, and i haven't find info like this on howtoforge
