    Hello again,
    I use Fedora 14 x 64bit system.
I have been trying to download 'VLC MEDIA PLAYER' from RPM FUSION, but so far all I've managed to get is this message -: "System release>=18". Has anyone any idea what I have to do to download this program successfully.
Thank you in advance for your help.

It seems as if RPMfusion doesn't support Fedora 14 anymore.

You can use rpm.pbone.net to search for Fedora 14 packages.

Thank you for your reply. I have tried rpm.pbone.net, but once more , I have hit a brick wall. I wonder why VLC MEDIA PLAYER is proving so hard to download. Are there any other options ?.

Try installing vlc via RPM download or just compile the source. Although installing this was can cause some serious dependences problem. You will also need to install all the dependency manually which can be real pain.

Thank you all for your support in overcoming the problem I had trying to download VLC onto Fedora 14. With the information I received, I eventually managed to download the program.
I have now installed Fedora 17 and again have installed VLC and everything is working fine.
Kind regards to one and all
