Have just followed the instructions on how to install Ubuntu server 12.04 LTS and ISPconfig 3 and apart from my own spelling msitakes, everything went absolutely to plan and I followed the directions to the letter. (except the suggestion that I should be using SSL and said no to that. I got no errors!! So when I try to access the ispconfig console from a browser on my network with http://192.168.0.222:8080, I get the squirrelmail login screen and I get the same login screen if i use port 8081. I dont want squirrelmail, I want ISPCONFIG. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
What a great forum. After posting my question I had another look for a similar problem and discovered it was a missing :80 at the end of the Virtual Host address in the Squirrelmail config file. so instead of 192.168.0.222> I should have had 192.168.0.222:80> This now means that 192.168.0.222:8080 gives me ispconfig and 192.168.0.222:80 gives me Squirrelmail. So this thread is closed now. First posting for mr. Is there a close thread button or are they all left open?
