Hello, I am looking for some advice on the best way to go with accessing a MSSQL DB server from Ubuntu server. I have seen this http://onefinepub.com/2013/03/07/ms-sql-odbc-ubuntu/ I am thinking that I follow these steps and see how it goes. Any comments gratefully received. Many thanks Bruce
about your sql question .... what is wrong with mysql ? if i where you and you have Ubuntu stick with mysql i even use mysql on a windows machine odbc is only needed if you need remote access and mysql does that too ... but if you want the mssql then you could try that howto ...
