    Hi there,

I've got a working debain sqeeze ispconfig server working, but it seems any subsequent installations on other computers run into problems.

I posted on the forum a few months ago but did not solve the issue. I'm trying again on another computer and I'm running into the exact same problem.

Just installed debian wheezy isconfig server as per tutorial.

    Most everything works fine.
    I get isconfig control panel.
I get the host server page which says, 'It works'.

I setup a domain, but it is not resolving. I have double checked all DNS/Site information in ispconfig control panels for both servers, to make sure they match, relatively.

    dig testpage.local

    cat /etc/hosts

    cat /etc/resolv.conf

    ls /etc/bind

    #################################

What could be the problem? I have not configured modem/router ports to any specific IP. Both servers are behind the same modem/router. One can serve local webpages, the other cannot.

    Thanks for your time.

    DNS issue

    hello there,

It is definitely a DNS problem on the NEW server.

I changed the resolv.conf file on both servers, to include each other.

The NEW server can access ISPconfig control panel on the OLD server.

The NEW server can NOT resolve 'testpage.local'

The OLD server can resolve 'testpage.local' which is hosted on the NEW server.

    Please help. What's the problem?

The new server is Debian Wheezy, ISPconfig with apache, setup as per tutorial.

    Thanks for your time.
