Dedicated IPs and Clients

I have ISPConfig 3.0.5.2 running on Wheezy with no real issues.

Except, my server has multiple public IP addresses which I can assign to clients/sites as I see fit. This all works fine.

However, when I create a new client, and give them access to the panel (with user rights only), they can create a site and select an IP address of their choosing out of the list of free ones I have for my server.

This is not good. I need to be able to assign these private, dedicated IP addresses to specific customers, but my other customers are using them for their own sites when they shouldn't even be able to select an IP in the first place. IMHO, selecting an IP for a site should be limited to admins only and should not be selectable by the customer.

How do I limit their ability to select an IP address when they create a new site?

You have to assign an ip to a client if you don't want them to be freely selected.
Just assign them to your own client account in the additional server ips section and they should no longer be selectable by other clients.

Yeah, I thought of that but it seems like a lot of unnecessary work when you have a lot of IPs.

I was hoping for an easier way. I don't think IPs should be selectable by the clients in the first place. Only the admins should be able to assign those.
