I am a newbie on server. I am trying to make a home server.
But I failed every time. At first I thought that I might have done something wrong. But it seems there is something wrong with the tutorial.

I have followed every step of :

    The Perfect Server - CentOS 6.4 x86_64 (Apache2, Dovecot, ISPConfig 3)
    http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-centos-6.4-x86_64-apache2-dovecot-ispconfig-3

Now I have a Linksys router running DHCP server.
And I have also set a static IP to my server. Which is 192.168.1.20.
The ports ar also open so I can browse from outside.

What I want is making a server on: server1.roopokar-server.com

Make my server nameserver: ns1.roopokar-server.com, ns2.roopokar-server.com

And also host website on: roopokar-server.com

But whenever I go to: roopokar-server.com or server1.roopokar-server.com , the page is same with Apache HTTP Test Server Page.

But after completing the installation by following the tutorial, I cannot seem to run it.

The Squirrel Mail is also not working. Every time when I login with mailbox credentials created from ISPconfig3, a error message shows. "ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server."

Whenever I add a Site from ISPConfig 3, The server doesn't go to its directory. Instead it goes default page for my server(showing apache Http server test page)

select the ip address in the website settings instead of *, if it is not listed there, add idd under system > server ip. If your server is behind a router, use the internal Ip and not the external ip.
