Hi, I think after the Update to 3.0.5.3 ftp-Login doesn't work anymore. I keep getting Error 530. The username and password are correct, i tried different ones and changed password etc. Auth log: Oct 17 15:43:41 servername pure-ftpd: pam_unix(pure-ftpd:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty=pure-ftpd ruser=fotp-ftp1 rhost=myhostname Connection from localhost doesnt work either. Anyone has a suggestion? Arne
Some hints. See my article "How to fix '530 Login authentication failed' for ISPConfig FTP logins?" for some ideas how to track down and / or fix this issue. If it does not help you, it may help other readers ... since I found this to be a relatively frequent and nasty issue with pure-ftpd.
