I am looking at new installation. Is it possible to just set a secondary dns, with ispconfig for syncing etc ? The thought is for our current tertiary ns. Additionally, can we run the ns servers on the boxes on different ip's (ns only) ? I apologise if these are dumb basic questions, but I haven't seen mention anywhere....
As you need for each Name Server it's own Public IP, if you run your own Name Server and not one from the Registra, it should be possible. Need to configures correctly in your Router.
