Can't receive e-mails but can send

i have setup ispconfig and my server send email but cant receive because of loops back to myself .

what can i do ??

 

I think you need to explain this better.
What error did you get?

 

the error is : mail for example.com loops back to myself

 

Re-check your installation! If you'd followed The Perfect Server ...... Guide, you shouldn't have any problems. Re-Read the Guide again and check all config etc. files while open them via SSH as Root user. Keep in mind that some of the command need to be changed regarding your actual IP, username, passwords etc settings. Also if you use different ports than the default's, change them to the actual used ports.

Also check that all ports you need to have open, special Ports 25, 110, 143, 465, 587, 3306 are open. For that yopu could use online tools: http://ports.my-addr.com/check-all-open-ports-online.php
