Hello, Recently i installed ISPConfig on my Debian 7 VPS on OpenVZ container. Everything is configured sucessfuly and there are no errors so far. I have problem with the DNS, i added my website on this way: On my domain i changed the ns servers to ns1.darkog.com and ns2.darkog.com too. I checked the website here http://www.intodns.com/shinywebs.com And intodns detected some strange errors. So the website i added now is unavailable. Please take a look at my issue, i will be very thankful. Thanks in advance.
The dot at the end of the data part of the cname record is missing. Take a look into the /var/log/syslog file, does it contain any errors for named or bind? you can search the file with grep: grep bind /var/log/syslog grep named /var/log/syslog
and grep named /var/log/syslog is a bit longer i exported it to: http://pastebin.com/WP0eVvt7 Please take a look at the logs and let me know, Thanks for your reply
The logs are ok so far. In the directory /etc/bind/ should be a file pri.shinywebs.com. Is this file there or is it named pri.shinywebs.com.err ?
