squirrelmail inbox empty but mails are in /var/mail/user

    i'v ubuntu 12.04 server installed properly with bind dovecot postfix squirrelmail . i m able to access web mail on other user . also mail send and receive .but the mails are not showing in inbox but shows in /var/mail/user. how to get the mails in inbox please help me

    please add the code to write in my dovecot.conf file

    Change $use_php_recode from true to false in /squirrelmail/config/config.php
