Installed:- The Perfect Server - Debian Wheezy (nginx, BIND, Dovecot, ISPConfig 3) All installed correctly. But: Webmail accessable at: http://<my.domain.com>:8081/webmail which re-directs to:- http://<my.domain.com>:8081/squirrelmail/src/login.php And at:- http://<my.domain.com>/webmail which re-directs to:- http://<my.domain.com>/squirrelmail/src/login.php But not at:- https://<my.domain.com>/webmail Firefox cannot establish a connection. Can someone please tell me how to set this up in ISPConfig3? I have to say I only have a single domain and only a few email accounts. Is this "Perfect Server an overkill? I even bought the ISPConfig3 manual which helped a bit but I think I am missing something obvious! Thanks
/webmail is an alias of the website wre you call it. so if you want to have https://<my.domain.com>/webmail, then you will have to enable ssl in the website my.domain.com. No. You need the same software and setup in apache, postfix etc. when you host 1 domain or a few hundred domains and the setup is maintained much easier trough ispconfig as if you would have to write all config files on the shell.
Thank you very much. I had SSL ticked in the Domain tab but I did not fill in the information required in the SSL tab or do the "Create certificate" action. Now done and it works! Many thanks again.
