Hi, Is there a way to create a SPF record in ISPCONFIG ? => when I say SPF record I say an SPF TYPE 99 Thanks.
You need to make a TXT record for that. My email spf looks like this: v=spf1 mx ip4:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. mx:mydomain.com ~all
Ofcourse you need to replace the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with your IP and mydomain.com with your domain. I have no idea how to do other things with spf, just that if you need to use spf for email... this works for me
Yes for me the TXT work too but I was talking about a SPF field not a TXT. So here for your information :
Well it looks like I've learned something new again! I searched it up for you and could only find some broken info from forums dating back to 2007. Bind 9.4 and up should support it, unlike a lot of control panels. I've got two links for you that are maybe worth checking out: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/spf/help/30146 http://www.openspf.org/ Keep in mind that it is outdated.
As far as I see, its the same syntax, just SPF instead of TXT, so it shold be easy to implement. If you like to see this kind of spf recrds in ispconfig, then make a feature request in our bugtracker.
