I have installed centos 6.5 and i followed the perfect server tutorial for centos 6.3 (with courier) . Web server works fine for http with isp config , but when i try to set to https from isp config the apache 2 test page still remains it does not change to ispconfig 3 default page . The certificate works fine , it is recognized by the browser and does not appear " add exception " in any browser . In site i have some pages that requires https ( because they contain sensible data ) , if i let them without https they work , but when i enable them to be https , e.g. click on 'Login' it says in firefox

The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) Server at www. mydomain .com Port 443

    Advice for others :
If you want a https site use other linux than centos with isp config 3
Ispconfig 3 fails on https with ssl

I installed ispconfig on centos yesterday for a client, I used the perfects setup guide for installation and I added a ssl website for him by using the exact setps from ispconfig manual, all woked flawlessly.

As you mentioned our vm images, I tested this a few minutes ago as you mentioned it does not work and it works fine for me as well.

    1) added my server IP address under System > server IP.
    2) added the website and selected the ip
    3) enabled ssl in the website
    4) created a ssl cert on the ssl tab of the website
    5) was able to access the webiste without any problem with http and https.

I'am eally sorry to hear that it did not work for you, but I've no idea what might have gone wrong when you created the webiste, there are many many servers using ispconfig on centos, even if we do not recommend it (because of the yum package manager which tends to overwrite config files), all ispconfig functions are working fine on centos.

Thanks but still not working , it still tells me to put files in /var/www/html not /var/www/mydomain.com/... as for http

Then most likely the domain or ip address is not correct, so apache is not able to select the right vhost. If your server is behind a router, then you have to use the internal IP address (nand not the external) for a vhost in apache.
