I followed the Guide to a T, I just bypassed the quota system as I could not get it to configure properly. Everything Else seems to work. My only problem is that I cannont get my email server up and running properly. I've gotten it as far to log in but the connection is refused for Smtp and it won't recieve emails. I'm set to default ports so I'm thinking blocked Ports? I also downloaded the ISPConfig 3 Guide and my ISPConfig portion looks good. What am I missing? Configuration Opensuse 12.2 64-bit (nginx, Dovecot, Ispconfig 3) I also have the server in a DMZ. I'm running two name servers, a website and the email all off the same IP address. glue shows as holding. The website is up and functional.

No Idea (Frontier ISP) I spent about two hours the other day on the phone with 4 different techs who could not answer my questions. Frontier (our ISP) is pretty awful. Any chance I could go and change the port configuration? I was thinking I'd pop into the postfix conf file and just change the port setup for both the smtp and Imap.
You can do that for imap and also for the smtp port that you use to send emails in your mailclient if the submission port does not work as well, but it makes no sense for smtp port 25 as you wont receive any emails on another port as each external mailserver will try to connect to your server on port 25. have you tested if your server works internally? you can do that with webmail, login to a account on your server with webmail and sent a email to the address that you used for login. the email should appear in the inbox of the webmail client within 1 minute.
Well I trying to avoid fixing my webmail application. Maybe that's what is hosing the whole thing up. I'm using squirrelmail and I'm getting the Error opening ../data/default_pref. I have tried changing permissions and the like and got no where with it. Any Suggestions?
