I have upgraded squeeze to wheezy a few days ago. I use Gnome 3 classic. When I start dconf-editor in Terminal I receive the following output: ** (dconf-editor:4124): WARNING **: dconf-schema.vala:401: Unknown tag <comment> ** (dconf-editor:4124): WARNING **: dconf-schema.vala:330: Unknown property on <schema>, extends ** (dconf-editor:4124): WARNING **: dconf-schema.vala:330: Unknown property on <schema>, extends ** (dconf-editor:4124): WARNING **: dconf-schema.vala:401: Unknown tag <comment> ** (dconf-editor:4124): WARNING **: dconf-schema.vala:401: Unknown tag <comment> dconf-editor starts and I can introduce new settings but they don't work. e.g. I'd like to change value of idle-delay key in org.gnome.desktop.session schema (default is 600 s) or idle-activation-enabled key in org.gnome.desktop.screensaver schema (default is true) I can do that and new values are saved in schema. But screensaver always activates after 600 s of idle time. That means it uses default values not values saved in schema. I also used gsettings program and introduced new values in command line. These changes also did'n work. Can somebody help me to make things working.
My dconf-editor problem is unsolved Problem is unsolved. May be this infomation is essential: There is a file user in ~/.config/dconf directory. If I remove this file and start dconf-editor new user file is created.
