I am unable to access the http from another computer or browser outside the centos 6.3 pc. where am I going wrong. I attached httpd.conf and CLI tasks in command line. Can you access via https? can you access webmail via https on the domain? I have the same issue, http not working, but https is. I have two network cards in the server on two different IP ranges. Running Centos 6.5. If you have more than one network card in your machine, our problems may be similar. If you have fixed the issue, could you please let me know what you did. Thanks.
Hi Itmas How did you created the website? Please follow these steps to create the website. 1. Add the server IP address under System > server IP. 2. Now add the website and selected the ip(be cautous in choosing the IPaddress) 3. Enable ssl in the website 4. Further create a ssl cert on the ssl tab of the website Following the above steps will help you to access the site both via http and https. When you say server IP, do you mean local IP or external IP. It keeps listing eth1 as the IP address, and not eth0. My intention was to set this machine as a gateway as well. Is it not recommended with ISPConfig to have 2 network cards, or if there is two, have them on the same IP range connected to the router for failover?
Which error message do you get in the apache error.log? local ip. This is most likely part ofthe problem. the setup you followed is for dedicated hosting servers and not gateways. ISPConfig is not made to be installed on a router, so you have normally just 1 network cad on a ispconfig server.
Update. I sorted the problem out. The issue was with the brand new modem supplied by the ISP. For some weird reason it was blocking port 80. I had reset the modem back to default twice and set DMZ up as per normal proceedures on all our other installation. One I replaced the modem (because every other avenue had been explored) port 80 was available.
