    Hi All
Thanks to all the community members for the excellent documentation. based on the documentation I was able to install ISPConfig 3 some time back.
I installed ISPConfig3 (3.0.4.6) on CentOS 5.8 (64bit) bit, it is working fine. The installed OS has PHP 5.1.6, MySQL 5.0.77.
I would like to upgrade or update the system, so that I have the latest stable PHP and MySQL , and the OS.
My concern is that, will anything happen to my ISPCOnfig when I upgrade or update from Centos(5.8 ) to the CentOS 6.5
    Can I safely upgrage
    Guidance and advice requested

With Centos, it is very likley that centos will break the setup during update. As far as I know, even the centos makers recommend a reinstall instead of trying to upgrade from centos 5.x to 6.x series. If you would have used Debian or Ubuntu, the answer would have been yes.

Assuming that you are running Debian (6.0.8 in my case) what would be the safest procedure for upgrading PHP or MySQL without waxing my ISPConfig? Am I safe to just run apt-get upgrade?
