I've been using ISPConfig for almost 4 years (Debian 5) and this week I moved my clients to a newer server (Debian 7) and ISPConfig 3.0.5.3. Some of my clients have Exchange on their offices where I setup a Send Connector to relay all e-mail thru ISPConfig. I setup a ordinary e-mail and setup a Send Connector with that e-mail account. Never had problems before. Now, with a particularly client that have Exchange 2013 I get these errors in Postfix: Mar 31 19:10:25 xxxx postfix/smtpd[20800]: warning: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]: SASL LOGIN authentication failed: UGFzc3dvcmQ6 The send connector is not using TLS just basic authentication. I've just tried everything and no success, I'm almost getting back to Debian 5 since this is a major problem for me... The modification is ok. Do you use courier or dovecot as imap server an do you use custom email logins in ispconfig?

I just installed exactly as mention here: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-debian-wheezy-apache2-bind-dovecot-ispconfig-3 I'm using dovecot. I didn't change anything. For regular users (imap/pop3) a setup the e-mail mailbox in ISPConfig. All mail from these users goes and arrives thru ISPConfig. For companies with exchange I setup a single mailbox that a I use in exchange to authenticate with postfix. I setup this account with a Send Connector so mail goes outside. I use this method because most of them are behind a adsl/dynamic ip modem. At ispconfig all mail arriving for domains with exchange are routed using Relay Recipients and Email Routing options.
Ok it's working now. With your settings (master.cf) all Exchange Servers are working now. The problem was something about the mailbox it self. I just recreated the same mailbox with the same password, and now all is good! For future users with this problem follow FILL instructions and just for sure, delete and create the mailbox again.
