    Hello,

I just recently setup a Debian 6 with ISPConfig 3 however i cannot get the emails to work proper. I have 2 issues:

    1. Any email I sent from Squirrel reaches yahoo and gmail as spam.
    2. Any user who tries to setup the email on his Outlook or any email client cannot do it see below the outcome.

    I checked with mxtoolbox.com :

    Test Result
SMTP Reverse Banner Check OK - 86.55.221.111 resolves to doarbio.ro
SMTP Reverse DNS Mismatch OK - Reverse DNS matches SMTP Banner
SMTP TLS OK - Supports TLS.
SMTP Connection Time 1.170 seconds - Good on Connection time
SMTP Open Relay OK - Not an open relay.
SMTP Transaction Time 3.541 seconds - Good on Transaction Time

    Hi
Are you able to send and receive emails with webmail? An easy test if the local mailsystem works is to login to webmail with a account hosted on the server and send a email to the same address that you used to login to webmail. The email shall arrive within a minute back to your account when the local mailsystem works. If the email does not arrive, then check the mail.log as described below.

    - Post the error message(s) that you get in the mail log file when the problem occurs. The mail log file is in the folder /var/log/, it is named "mail.log" on Debian and Ubuntu Linux and named "maillog" on other distributions.

i managed to make a successful connection with plain auth on the client so the connection issues might be solved.

now I am left with my emails being sent to spam folder. I think it has to do with the DNS maybe because from MXtoolbox i see that somehow my second dns does not work:

Type Domain Name IP Address TTL Status Time (ms) Auth Parent Local
    NS ns1.doarbio.ro 86.55.221.111 60 min 468 ok ok
NS ns2.doarbio.ro 60 min nok nok

and the dns configuration is the same for ns1 and ns2
