Hi there! I just want to ask. Im using a ISPConfig multiserver setup. My setup is: Master Server (ispconfig, mysql, apache, dovecot) Web Server (with apache) Web Server (with apache) My question is, can I add a Nginx Web server setup and use it as a Web server of the main setup (connected with the masterserver with apache)? Thanks in advance!
Yesm you can add apache and nginx servers to the same master server. Just do not set apache /nginx combinations to be mirrors.
Ok! Thnx till! Should I follow any special steps away from setting a normal Webserver from multiserver guide? I cannot find a multiserver setup guide with nginx webserver.
Ok! Thanks Till, its working like a charm I've just need to add the rewrites base rules to nginx to keep my sites runing OK. Maybe that should be "out-the-box" feature, it wasn't hard to add it, but it was like "oh, i doesn't work with default install dammit!"
The rewrite rules are different for each cms and even the same cms might need different rules when you install additional plugins, so that nothing that will work well automatically.
