    Hello,

i am using ispconfig for a few days. for the first ... its very n1ce software!

    my Problem:

i have some domains which the ispconfig server has the MX-Records for.

some of this Domains need to be forwardet to "Home-Mailservers" which are using DynDNS.

    this works fine.

My Problem ist the outgoing way.

The DynDNS Mailservers have to use a server as Smarthost for sending - i could not find a way to solve this with ispconfig.

is there any way to solve this?

i know it is possible to do with a normal postfix configuration that authenticated user can send mails through the server.

if i add an account which can send mails, my routing doesnt work anymore.

    kind regards

    Hey...

    thanks for your reply.

i need a way in ispconfig that i can crate a relay user on the same domain that will be routed to another mailserver.

    for example.

    domain1.tld (customers domain)
    domain2.tld (ispconfig owners domain)

    ispconfig server:
    domain1.tld -> routed via SMTP to mail.homeserver.tld

i want to crate a user that can send via SMTP - [email protected].

this seems to be not possible.

i have to use another domain which has no SMTP Routing applied.
[email protected] -> set it to settings in mail.homeserver.tld relay settings.

i can send From [email protected] with this user, but its not great for customers to add [email protected] (which is different from customers domain) to their settings. i want to get SMTP Routing for complete Domain, but have on the same domain a relay user to use from external server.

i hope you understand what i mean.

    kind regards

    nighty
