    Hi good morning everyone.

    I have problems sending emails to gmail and hotmail as my emails are being marked as spam.

    I have checked the blacklists, and my ip's are not any.
    And also created the sfp records for my domains, the format is as follows, but not if it is correct (v = spf1 a mx ptr ip4: 188.1 * 77 * -all..).

    But all this is still marking my mail as spam.

    A may be due to? As I can solve ??

    Please check the domain at mxtoolbox.com and ensure that you have a correct reverse record for your IP address and that this reverse record matches the hostname of the server and that this hostname is also set as mailname in postfix.

    Also make sure that this is set correct for your IPv6 (if used)

    I have reviewed and results are as follows:

    Server lince.p*go.net

    reverse dns: PTR 188.*.*.77 lince.p*go.net 24 hrs

    Postfix configuration file:

    myhostname = lince.p*go.net
    alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases, hash:/var/lib/mailman/data/aliases
    alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases, hash:/var/lib/mailman/data/aliases
    myorigin = /etc/mailname
    mydestination = lince.p*go.net, localhost, localhost.localdomain
    relayhost =
    mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 [::1]/128

    Host Name: lince.p*go.net

    blacklists:

    Checking 188.*.*.77 against 87 known blacklists...
    Listed 0 times with 0 timeouts

    Server armadillo.p*go.net

    reverse dns: PTR 37.*.*.103 armadillo.p*go.net 24 hrs

    Postfix configuration file

    myhostname = armadillo.p*go.net
    alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases, hash:/var/lib/mailman/data/aliases
    alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases, hash:/var/lib/mailman/data/aliases
    myorigin = /etc/mailname
    mydestination = armadillo.p*go.net, localhost, localhost.localdomain
    relayhost =
    mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 [::1]/128

    Host Name: armadillo.p*go.net

    blacklists:
    Checking 37.*.*.103 against 87 known blacklists...
    Listed 0 times with 0 timeouts

    This is my current setup.

    But my mails arrive as spam.

    My servers are clustered. and contain multiple domains each

    Ok, so your server is configured correctly. Then it might either be that your IP is on a internal blacklist at gmail or yahoo or the Ip or domain has a bad reputation at these providers or the content of the emails seems spammy to them.

    The only othet thing that you can try is to use dkim and siggn your mails:

    You can try to send a complaint to hotmail, this works sometimes. They must have a form somewhere, yu should find it with google.

    Just because I'm passing by:

    I had several mail problem with hotmail. My mail server has a clean reputation, use spf, dkim. I test my mail server on some reputation sites, got 9.5/10.
    But hotmail is a true pain. It arrives even that their server reply with a good acknowledge for the reception of the message and the recipient never receive the message! I tell my customers to keep away from this provider, go to gmail for example.

    Regards,

    Olivier

    We have te same problem here with howtoforge, htmail is simply accepting the forum registration messages but does not delivere them to the mail accounts. So we had to ban all @microsoft mailservices permanently for registrations now as their user wont receive the confirmation link anyway.
