ISPConfig is a good example of how open source software can be. Although it's quality, a lot of parts of the userinterface are not translated into the Dutch language. As a satisfied user of ISPConfig here is my contribution to the ISPConfig team: a complete new Dutch userinterface The Dutch language package can be downloaded and installed via the update manager within ISPConfig. Before performing an update, please read the readme file first. The package itself can be downloaded at the Downloadpage of my website. As described on my website, i am also busy to translate the official documentation into Dutch. This is still in progress, be patient please. Hans
Bedankt Hans, Ik ga het zo even testen op een test server. -- Thank you Hans, I'll give it a go on my test server.
So what's the verdict on the quality of the translation? Impatient as I am I downloaded it and installed it from file; for some reason the update via the url didn't work for me. Not that the previous translation was bad, but it looks pretty nice.
Download via URL Thanks for the compliments so far. If there are wishes under the Dutch users, let me know. I want to make the best of it. You can update via URL by pasting the linkaddress into the update manager of ISPConfig.
Update available: release date 08-07-2006 Translation for some files are improved a little bit more: Some German words, where not translated into Dutch with my first release. For example the German "Ü" caused some problems and the result was no translation. I fixed that now. See the release note within the readme or leesmij file for further details.
Dutch language files are modified for ISPConfig 2.2.4 Hello Dutch friends, (replying myself, yes) I want you to know that i have modified my Dutch language package. All the new features within ISPConfig 2.2.4 /2.2.5 are in Dutch too. You can download the package at the downloads section of my website. Status: Translating the manuals is still in progess, but the clients manual is almost finished now.
Dutch documetation for ISPConfig As you probably know, i am busy with translating the ISPConfig manuals into the Dutch language. My "todo list" is a little bit long but i promise that the manuals are ready in html and pdf format before the end of 2006. After that, my work can be published on the ISPConfig website. Sorry for the delay!
No problem Hans. We can wait. Harstikke bedankt voor je bijdrage zover. Zo gauw als ispconfig draait dan ga ik 'm proberen.
2.2.8 update? Just started with ISPconfig and just found this thread about a Dutch translation. Cool. Found only references to 2.2.2 and/or 2.2.3, so what happens if I install this on 2.2.8? Does it break, or will I just see some non-translated text somewhere. Thanks, Martin
Links for online help for Dutch language within ISPConfig Within ISPConfig > Help, there are help folders available, which contain links to online documentation within German, English and French. I also would like to add such feature for the Dutch documentation as well, because I am going to release it (probably at the end of this week). My question is, what do I have to do/which files need to be changed, to to make this possible for the Dutch language documentation?
The file is /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/help/inhalt_tree.php, but we can change this for you once we've uploaded your translation.
Dutch documentation for ISPConfig finished @All Dutch users, The Dutch documentation can be downloaded here: http://www.ispconfig.org/documentation.htm And here as well: Dutch documentation in pdf-format. Bedankt Hans Hi Hans. I would like to thank you for this translation. All that hard work shared with/for the community is admirable. Ronald.
