Uebimiau affected mail home dir

after "installing" Uebimiau instead of routing mail to /home/vmail/... i see user mailboxes stored under /tmp/uebmiau_domainname.com_localhost/INBOX.MAIL_FOLDER_NAME

why is this happening?

 

I think these are just temporary files, nothing to worry about.

 

but the entire mailbox is stored there... even mail from several days ago...
isn't it supposed to be under /home/vmail ?

 

Depends on your configuration. If you use /home/vmail, then the real mailboxes should be there. I think the files in /tmp are just working copies.
