Hi eveyone, I have a ubuntu 14 server with ispconfig.Thunderbird mail client doesnt accept sending mail while encrypted password options is checked. I can send mail with normal password with starttls.
When you send a password with starttls, then the password is encrypted and secured by tls already, the option to send a encrypted password is not needed then. Using an encrypted password i only required when you use a plain text (non tls) connection.
password is ok but outlook 2010 client does not accept self-signed certificate because host name is invalid in certificate.
