Change the server name in /etc/postfix/main.cf, /etc/hosts, /etc/hostname, /etc/mailname, /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/lib/config.inc.php and in ISPConfig under management > server > settings. Dont worry if you do not have all these files on your system.
Hello, if ispconfig installed in cluster mode, it this work? (Installed A Web, Email & MySQL Database Cluster On Debian 6.0 With ISPConfig 3) Sorry for my english too
In cluster mode you will have to update the ispcsrv* user in the mysql db on the master as well when you change the name of a slave. If the name of the master is changed, then you have to update the /usr/local/ispconfig/server/lib/config.inc.php on all slaves too. But the instructions above are for ispconfig 2, thats a different software then ispconfig 3.
it is impossible to make the webdomain name is name servers? (example server name and web domain name (creat in ispconfig panel): server.domain.com). When I go to the website (server.domain.com), I don't see it.

VPS hosting google cloud to see printscreen prntscr.com/lkjqzo and prntscr.com/lkjrao and prntscr.com/lkjro6 (never change ) the google cloud automatically assigns and it does not understand /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/lib/config.inc.php and in ISPConfig under management> server> settings. can you help me to fix the hostname for painel.drarebecagomes.com and NOT srv.us-east1-b.c.drarebecagomes-221302.internal after you install the SSL on the panel. thank you very much
You are posting here in the ISPConfig 2 forum. Are you sure that you are using ISPConfig 2 and not ISPConfig 3?
ISP 3... i try i try change in /etc/hosts, but google cloud assigns automatic... help fix this and later help setup SSL here printscreen prntscr.com/lkkd4q
come back again again 127.0.0.1 localhost 127.0.0.1 painel.drarebecagomes.com painel 10.142.0.2 srv.us-east1-b.c.drarebecagomes-221302.internal srv # Added by Google 169.254.169.254 metadata.google.internal # Added by Google
If you use ISPConfig version 3, post in ISPConfig 3 forum. Do your changes to /etc/hosts get overwrittern or is it just adding that ip-number and hostname there automatically?
Hi Teleman, I just want it to stay static hostname painel.drarebecagomes.com painel and not this below that google automatically puts 10.142.0.2 srv.us-east1-b.c.drarebecagomes-221302.internal srv # Added by Google 169.254.169.254 metadata.google.internal # Added by Google Thank
Do your changes to /etc/hosts get overwrittern or is it just adding that ip-number and hostname there automatically? If Google just adds those lines, put your line before or after them. What service or hosting have you purchased from google? Are you really using ISPConfig 2?
I'm using 3, vps normal, debian etc 9... you can help you adjust hostname to painel.mydomain.com and not change later save...
