So the tittle says it all. I have a ISPConfig3 install running for a while now. 100+ domains..
Is is possible to add a secondary DNS server running ISPConfig3? How do I import all the zones of the first one!?

    Thank you,
    Igor

    Yes.

Is the first one a dns server only or is the first ne running websites, dns and mail?

    Hi Til,
The first one is a complete server. Running everything.
The second one will be just a secondary DNS server.

    Thank you,

    The installation steps will be:

    1) Edit the mysql root user on the master server with phpmyadmin so that you can access mysql on the master from IP and hostname of your new server.
    2) Install the dns server, silmilar to this page: https://www.howtoforge.com/multiser...servers-on-debian-squeeze-with-ispconfig-3-p5 It is important that you run the ispconfig installer in expert mode and choose to configure just dns and that you choose to connect this server with your first server.
    3) Open the resync tool under Tools in ISPConfig, select dns and run the resync.
