Ok. I added this to the bugtracker. We will have to add some kind of function that allows bugs to be marked as solved. What you can do is e.g. to delete the error in the sys_log database table.
If you have a lot of pages with errors you can remove it by emptying the sys_log in dbispconfig database.
Sorry to bring this up again... BUT.. I noticed when using phpmyadmin to do a clean up as ispconfig didn't, I couldn't select more than 100 rows as an error about 1000 fields came up, obviously a config issue (any suggestions of a fix ?)
I wonder what the recommended setting is for ispconfig ? I was actually observing a mysql traffic issue whilst the log wasn't clearing. The warnings (1000's) all occurred during a reboot of the base machine when mysql was down, I would have expected things to clear. What alerted me to the problem was the DNS machines were generating outbound traffic back to the control machine, in some cases well over their link capacity. Once I managed to look at IspConfig via a non effected link, the only issue was the warning and once manually cleared all the links returned to normal. Seems a funny result, but I now have to setup some new firewall rules around the place for should it happen again. I wonder if others have ever seen this ? My DNS's are in different datacenters.
There is no recommended setting as the defaults are alwyas fine for ISPConfig as ISPConfig does not use many post variables ina page. Your problem is in phpmyadmin and not ISPConfig.
