Hi, we have ISPConfig 3 and we have a site that when you call it with www dot domain dot tld loads ok, but, when in the browser we put domain dot tld it asks for user/pass just like htaccess, but we haven't configured any restriction. thanks in advance.
both with and without www are pointing to the same IP, but it is a different DNS, not the one included in ISPConfig. but, there is any default config that might be asking for user/pass and/or protecting folders without been configurated?
No. My guess is that you connect to 2 different servers when you use the domain with and without www or you did not use the default setup (domain.tld in website plus ato-subdomain = www in ispconfig).
