Good day Folks, I'm need with ISPConfig, I did installed successfully a new instance of ISPConfig and would like to know if is possible to add new server to this instance without installing ISPConfig on each server. Thanks
In my multiserver setup (was set up on version 3 not 3.1) You have to install on each server using expert mode, and have mysql users I followed https://www.howtoforge.com/multiser...se-servers-on-debian-squeeze-with-ispconfig-3 pretty much to a T except installing roundcube and I only have DNS, web and mail servers, each additional server gets set up as a slave as part of the install
yes, you will need to use the installer on every server. Use the expert mode to connect to an existing ispconfig master server. You will need to use a mysql user to connect to the master server, so enable the root user to login from the specific new server or use % for any host. you don't need to install the web interface on every slave server, and will be able to control the slave server(s) with the web interface of the master server.
