Hello, I can find instructions on how to do this in suse...but those instructions dont work under Ubuntu...nor do they resemble anything in my Ubuntu server. If anyone has any good instructions to do this, I have installed roundcube...but I cannot find where the symlinks go so that when someone types in www.example.com/webmail it shows roundcube and not squirrelmail. Thanks...

  2. It should be within apache configuration. Did you check that?

  3. This configuration should be in /etc/apache2/sites-available/roundcube.conf

The default config directory of the Debian and Ubuntu roundcube package is /etc/apache2/conf-available/ /etc/apache2/conf.d, depending on the Ubuntu version. The sites-available directory contains the website config (vhosts) only.

thank you to both of you...when I hosted my own websites...there was none of this stuff...if you go with a hosting company for 10 years because its cheaper...things change around you and you have no idea...now roundcube is the default mailer...
