Hello, please, I like to know if there is a way to create templates for hosting (eg "Professional" plan with 200 MB of disk space, CGI, PHP, 3 MySQL database, etc.) . If you create a new site, you can choose a hosting plan defined previously. It's my first use for ispconfig 3 in Debian 8. Thank you
yes, you create them under Client > Limit-Templates then assign a template to a client or reseller. See the manual for details if needed.
Hi when I create limit-templates and I assigned this template to a client and I create web site for this client the soft limit is unlimited ( in this template the quota disque is 100 MB) Help please
The template limits the amount that a customer can assign to his website. If you create the site as admin, then you are allowed to override any limits. Try to login as customer and create the site, you will see that you can not enter a limit in the website that is larger then the free quota space you assigned to this client.
Thank you for answering so quickly, I explain: I want to have 2 limits-templates (gold 1000 MB and silver 500 MB) I want every time a reseller creates a website he has the possibility of assigning him either gold or silver. Please tell me the steps because I always have soft limit unlimited
Assgn the template as admin, then login as reseller and create a website, you will see that you can not create a unlimited website then, the max amount that you can enter into the website quota as reseller is the amount you assigned to him as admin.
yes exactly I tried it I had "Max Harddisk Quota available: 1000 MB" so it is not possible to use predefined hosting plans?
The template is the hosting plan of the reseller. How he splits his hosting up on his client sites is up to him and you should not really care as it does not matter for you as service provider how he splits up the space you assigned him between the number of sites that you allowed to him, the resulting usage on your server is the same.
