DMARC without DKIM

Whenever I try and create a DMARC record I get the error "No active DKIM record" , I only want SPF no DKIM
Using ISPConfig 3.1.12

 

As admin you can create that as TXT.

dmarc without spf and dkim makes no sence. that's the reason, why you can not enable it with the wizard.

 

I see cases where I find dmarc + spf (without DKIM) useful.
if it's a domain that should not send ANY emails.

 

a dmarc-check verifies the dkim-signature and the spf-record. if you have no dkim, this makes no sence. btw: you can just set the mx to "domain does not send mail".
it's always up to the receiver, if the server runs any checks and reacts on wrong spf/dmarc.

 

@florian030 even if my domain doesn't send or even receive email, I might have an interest in receiving Aggregate Reports to know wether my domain is getting abused by 3rd party.

 

Do you know how many mailservers will genrate aggregate reports?

 

yeah.net, 163.com, mail.ru, google.com, yahoo..... a lot dunno how to answer this question hehe but feature is there to be used!
