Hi, I have PDNS 4.1 running a master and slave as separate servers. It would be nice if I could integrate them with Ipsconfig and control all from Ispconfig so my users can manage their own dns. Did not find any info on the forum to follow but some old 2013 threads. One concerns is that the new 4.1 Authoritative Server, Recursor have changed a lot in the setup with now a dnsdist in front of all and I dont want to mess up a production installation. Any recommendation is appreciated
I guess this won't work when your pdns setup contains zones already as ispconfig will not read in your existing zones from pdns database. ISPConfig writes just to pdns from it's own database.
I am looking for a new howto complete setup with ispconfig, I can recreate the records from within ipsconfig.
