Hello, im using a multi server setup. for the websites is the default php version the old php-5 i cant upgrade it, it has some old sites that will break. I have php 7 as php-fm i noticed that a lot of clients creats websites with the default settings. Is there a way to change the default for new sites to php 7? or a way to upgrade the stock php 5 to php 7 and add php5 as php-fm? with regards Steffan
So what you mean is that i change these settings to the settings that i have in additional PHP versions? And in the php additional PHP versions i add the php-5 config? After that i need to change all php 5 sites to the additional PHP ?
its default php settings. if you change it, your additonal configuration will remain the same. And if you still need php5 you must add it like additional php
oke but i can imagine that somekind of configuration change (updates etc) will also changs the old sites to the new settings in the future so th ebest would be to add php 5 as a extra php and change the old sites to them. After that change the defauult php to php 7 right?
yeap. each site with default php will be use new default settings. If you already declare additional php in site settings it remain the same. Updates first of all testing by community, for centos 7 php 5.4 stiil default, and nobody knows when it wil be change
