This means that ISPConfig is currently writing some configuration for that item or its parent item, so you must wait a minute or so and try again.

ISPConfig puts the statistics in the stats folder of each website.

It now seems that every change requires a several minute wait? Prior to 2.2.6 I could make a number of changes and only bump into the wait message when the server was actually making those changes. Since the upgrade I can't make two simple changes without getting this error.

This means for example that when creating a new user, filling in the first page, change tabs, make other options causes this message to appear. That isn't right, is that by design now or a problem I can fix?

It's by design. This way it's easier to guarantee for data consistency.

I have the same problem. It's a bit anoying to create a new co-domain and have to wait several minutes untill I can add the forward value.

Would it not be possible to start the write process as soon as the user clicks the save button and not when only changing the tabs?

Changing tabs has the same effect as clicking on "Save". When you change a tab, all your changes are saved.

Yes, I know. And this is what makes the whole thing annoying.

We can not change this behaviour withot rewriting a large part of the interface code.

But it's better than having inconsitent data (which could happen if several people were editing one item at the same time...).

    Switching On Firewall

    Hi all,

I'm having this same problem when trying to switch on my firewall, I've tried being patient and am just not getting anywhere. I turned it off to test something briefly and now cannot get it back on.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    What's the output of
    Code:
    ls -la /root/ispconfig
    ?

We'll release ISPConfig 2.2.7 in a few days, the problem should be gone then. :)

    Falco,

Thanks for that, to be honest i'm not sure. I ended up reinstalling on another server and formatting this one - seems to be working ok with the new one.

I have noticed that the user count seems to be higher than the actual number of users logged on. Not sure if it was maybe not clearing sessions properly hence the changes are being updated lock.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

    Cheers!
