Hi. ISP Config: Latest (3.1) Server: Debian 9 I recent purchased Migration Toolkit and used to migrate my server to a new installation (migration still in process), but some files (plain text) are wrong copied, so characters encoding are broken (tildes and others). Can I execute migration toolkit with some "binary copy" or "encoding utf8" support?
The migration tool uses rsync to copy files and I think that rsync copies the files without altering the encoding by default. So if the file encoding is wrong, then what you might need is actually to alter the encoding during copy? Please contact the Migration tool support https://www.ispconfig.org/get-support/?type=migration so we can try to find a solution for your problem.
Thanks Till, I will send no an email. If this help to someone: Searching on google I found that the problem can be the mount method of destination hard disk, so adding ,iocharset=utf8 can solve it (not worked to me). EDIT: After some other tests, seems to be Debian or Apache configuration.
