SOLVED: CentOS 7.6, ISPConfig 3, 500 Internal Server Error, mod_fcgid error reading data

    Newbie here. Been working this from last week. I've got it working last time but had to restart from scratch and the fix I did the last time is not working now. Thought the last time issue was with file permission in /usr/local/ispconfig which I apply the following:
    chmod -R 755 /usr/local/ispconfig
    chown -R ispconfig:ispconfig /usr/local/ispconfig

    But now it still not working. It seem now that any php would not working in /usr/local/ispconfig/interface/web. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Tried to see if php fdm is working by creating a info.php in /usr/local/ispconfig/interface/web
    info.php

    phpinfo();
    ?>
    Nothing comes out when I type "localhost::8080 info.php.
    getting same error code "mod_fcgid: error reading data from FastCGI server"

    Created a hello.html in /usr/local/ispconfig/interface/web
    hello.html
    <html>
    <header><title>This is title></title></header>
    <body>
    Hello world
    </body>
    </html>
    Hello.html shows ok using "localhost::8080 hello.html"

    Test if php fpm is running

    Somewhat fixed

    Apply the following
    chmod -R 755 /var/www/php-fcgi-scripts/ispconfig/

    Note the "-R" because it need to also apply to .php-fcgi-start file inside ispconfig folder.

    Also, seem there is issue with moving from SSL ISPConfig to non SSL ISPConfig. The admin site keep redirecting to https after the switch. So I put back the SSL and apply the "chmod -R 755 /var/www/php-fcgi-scripts/ispconfig/" again and seem to work now.
