    Hello:
The access.log in the /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/ folder is not a soft link to %Y%m%d-access as it aught to.
Has anyone any idea about the best way to resolve this problem?
Please I need all the ideas I can find.
    Thank you.

You mean /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/ or /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/yourdomain.tld/ ? the folder /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/ should contain subfolders only and not a access.log file.

    Hello Till:
    I mean /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/yourdomain.tld/.
The access folder is not linking to the %Y%m%d-access.log file.
    Thank you.

I would just delete the access.log file then and create a symlink that points to the correct file.

Thank you so very much Till.
Please, would it be possible to educate me a little the ISPConfig file that creates and maintains the access.log link to the %Y%m%d-access.log?

This is done by vlogger. Apache pipes the log data for all sites in realtime to /usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts/vlogger and vlogger splits it then for the different vhosts and does the log splitting by day.
