I have a fresh install of fedora core 5 following the perfect system setup by falko. I installed ispconfig and setup my first site. I am getting the following error when attempting a simple <?php phpinfo(); ?> from this virtual host: Browser Output: "couldn't define connection" Apache Error Log: [Mon Aug 07 23:57:14 2006] [error] [client 208.47.94.66] PHP Warning: odbc_connect() [<a href='function.odbc-connect'>function.odbc-connect</a>]: SQL error: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Data source name not found, and no default driver specified, SQL state IM002 in SQLConnect in /var/www/web2/web/test.php on line 3 here is the vhost information for this site: # ###################################### # Vhost: www.acmtechnologies.com:80 ###################################### # # <VirtualHost 192.168.167.254:80> ServerName www.acmtechnologies.com:80 ServerAdmin [email protected] DocumentRoot /var/www/web2/web ServerAlias acmtechnologies.com DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.php index.php5 index.php4 index.php3 index.shtml index.cgi index.pl index.jsp Default.htm default.htm ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /var/www/web2/cgi-bin/ AddHandler cgi-script .cgi AddHandler cgi-script .pl ErrorLog /var/www/web2/log/error.log AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .php4 .php5 <Files *.php> SetOutputFilter PHP SetInputFilter PHP </Files> <Files *.php3> SetOutputFilter PHP SetInputFilter PHP </Files> <Files *.php4> SetOutputFilter PHP SetInputFilter PHP </Files> <Files *.php5> SetOutputFilter PHP SetInputFilter PHP </Files> php_admin_flag safe_mode Off Alias /error/ "/var/www/web2/web/error/" ErrorDocument 400 /error/invalidSyntax.html ErrorDocument 401 /error/authorizationRequired.html ErrorDocument 403 /error/forbidden.html ErrorDocument 404 /error/fileNotFound.html ErrorDocument 405 /error/methodNotAllowed.html ErrorDocument 500 /error/internalServerError.html ErrorDocument 503 /error/overloaded.html AliasMatch ^/~([^/]+)(/(.*))? /var/www/web2/user/$1/web/$3 AliasMatch ^/users/([^/]+)(/(.*))? /var/www/web2/user/$1/web/$3 </VirtualHost> # # [root@localhost vhosts]# Any idea how to correct this issue would be a great help.
Does not look like a simple phpinfo() call, if I guess you put that into test.php? Because apache reports the error on that file.
The file /var/www/web2/web/test.php contains just this: "<?php phpinfo(); ?>" ? Whats exactly in line 3? If you do not need odbc in php, you can try to uninstall the php odbc package and restart apache.
sorry, my mistake. wrong file. I replaced test.php with correct syntax and it worked properly. Thanks for your assistance.
