Hi! Everything works fine, but when I resync mail services from ispconfig, amavis does not restart automatically and the following message appears: Code: #systemctl status amavis dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: Failed to start LSB: Starts amavisd-new mailfilter. dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: Starting LSB: Starts amavisd-new mailfilter... dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: amavis.service start request repeated too quickly, refusing to start. dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: Failed to start LSB: Starts amavisd-new mailfilter. dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: Starting LSB: Starts amavisd-new mailfilter... dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: amavis.service start request repeated too quickly, refusing to start. dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: Failed to start LSB: Starts amavisd-new mailfilter. dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: Starting LSB: Starts amavisd-new mailfilter... dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: amavis.service start request repeated too quickly, refusing to start. dic 18 09:49:04 domain.eu systemd[1]: Failed to start LSB: Starts amavisd-new mailfilter. So, to start again, I have to start the service manually: Code: systemctl restart amavis DEBIAN 8 JESSIE ISPCONFIG 3.1.9 Log files do not show anything relevant. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Restart it manually. As you can see, amavis (systemd) cannot cope with that frequent restarts that are required for a resync. Resyncs are not used in normal server operation, so you should be able to restart it manually once after you did the resync.
I had to check all the services were working properly after I did the re-sync but I didn't. I am noticed by our customers that they haven't received any email since last night. I found there were thousand mails in the queue caused by amavisd service was stopped. It's 100% my fault but if I knew this before I did the re-sync I might be able to prevent any service disruptions. My suggestion is to add simple note on that page so people will not make a mistake like me.
