Hi there, My mail server Centos 6.x suddenly stopped working, I've ran the script to update to the latest ispconfig p1 (as the newer version dropped centos 6 support) here some debug, I'm struggling to find something useful to solve the issue. ps -ef | grep clam clam 29708 1 0 16:33 ? 00:00:00 clamd freshclam -V ClamAV 0.100.3/25659/Tue Dec 10 09:49:44 2019 netstat -tap | grep 100 tcp 0 0 mail.[CANT TELL YOU]:10027 *:* LISTEN 29530/master tcp 0 0 mail.[CANT TELL YOU]:10025 *:* LISTEN 29530/master the postfix main.conf is attached.
Start or restart amavis. The latest p1 version does not support centos 6 as well, probably any release in 2019 will require manual config file modifications to work on CentOS 6. The software and tools in CentOS 6 are simply too outdated.
Thanks till, that's correct... the latest version did cause problems as I restarted amavis and it didn't help at all. The only way to solve the issue has been restore a previous backup, I've updated to the latest patch of version .14 and seems working fine. unfortunately I have no clue if I could upgrade Centos to version 7.x and keep the same configuration with all the mail boxes and related data without screwing up this old server
