E: Couldn't find package ncftp !

    Hey...

    I am doing the tutorial for Ubuntu 6.06.1 and I'm on this page > http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_ubuntu_6.06_p4

    When i go to install the software is says:

    any ideas?

    Did you have the install CD in the drive? I think that is where it is expecting the package to reside until you add repos (or whatever debian/ubuntu call them)...

    My apologies... i fixed it... Once i added the repos i had to run apt-get update for it to update the database.
