I am a new user and I wanted to know what the purpose and why it is needed to use the /etc/bash/ configuration command in Linux?
The /etc/bash/ is a linux command configuration to config files for bash. My question is what is the purpose of this command? Why do you need to use this command?
The linux hosts that I have do not have /etc/bash file or directory. Most likely it is not a command, if that file even exists on your computer.
Thank you Th0m for the response it is very helpful. I am a new user, so I am very curious as to what the purpose of each command is, while I am also learning the Linux program along the way. You have been very helpful.
