So one of my user 's laptops crashed. He lost everything. Contracts, Forms, Personal files, etc.... However he knows that he recently sent off a few key contracts and etc through his email. The email was sent through Thunderbird and was also lost in the crash(the program not the email). Is there a way to pull those emails up?
Mailservers do not store emails that where sent to external accounts, only if the external account is unreeachable.
If you used POP3 to get mail then no, they are gone. If you used IMAP then the mail should be as it was plus new mail. T-Bird also defaults to saving Sent mail at the server in a Sent folder. But with POP3 the mail is gone once it is delivered or retrieved.
