Can't login to ISPConfig panel after successful installation

I installed ISPConfig3 using the automated installation as described in this tutorial (https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/ispconfig-3-automated-installation-on-ubuntu-1804/)

Before installation i only

1. Installed 2GB of swapfiles
2. Ran apt update && apt upgrade

VM is currently running on ubuntu 18.04 LTS

After automatic installation completed i received a link to the ipsconfig control panel and some login information. When I tried to connect using the provided link, the browser displayed a "ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT" error message.

I also tried https:/[MY External IP]:8080 but it won't work either.

I can still access apache sample page and PHPMyAdmin using http:/[My External Ip]/ and http:/[My External Ip]/phpmyadmin

 

I'm still new here.

Can you please tell me how to run the automatic install in interactive mode?

 

I think he was using and referring to non-official ISPConfig installer, not the official one which currently is advisable to be used in an interactive mode.

For that he need to ask support from the that script thread or its github.
