i don't know if this is a bug or i'm doing something wrong but need to solve it I migrate an ispconfig server with the migration tool. I had in old server 3 domains with DKIM ok. I've never tried set upt DKIM since migration in the new server and now i'm trying to setup but without luck. 3 more domains with same error. I disable DKIM from one working domain and when set up again, same error. root@xxxxxx:/# amavisd-new testkeys TESTING#1 xxxxxxxxxx=> pass TESTING#2 yyyyyyyyy=> pass TESTING#3 zzzzzzzz=> invalid (public key: syntax error) TESTING#4 aaaaaaaa=> invalid (public key: syntax error) TESTING#5 bbbbbbbb=> invalid (public key: syntax error) zzzzzzzzz domain is an example that was working as 2 first domains that pass, I disabled dkim, enabled again and get syntax error. Possible bug generating public key? I've been looking forward into generated public key file and aparently is ok, i've compared both keys (ok and no ok) and can't see diffs. Thanks in advance and happy new year
I respond myself, it's an ispconfig bug, when generating the txt record it puts 2 "" in the middle of the record. If you do a amavisd-new showkeys you don't see this "" so I delte from the dns TXT record and works! I've contacted Tim regarding this. Regards!
That's not a bug, most DNS providers require it that long TXT records are split into multiple chunks and that's why ISPConfig displays it in that way. This has been discussed already in several threads here in the forum btw.
